GENERAL TICKET POLICIES & TERMS OF SALE

GENERAL TICKET POLICIES & TERMS OF SALE

The UK Hair and Beauty Awards

Effective Date: 12 February 2026

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By purchasing a ticket to The UK Hair and Beauty Awards event ("the Event"), you ("the Ticket Holder") agree to be bound by these Ticket Policies and Terms of Sale. Please read these terms carefully before completing your purchase.

2. NO REFUNDS POLICY

2.1 All ticket sales are final and non-refundable. Under no circumstances will refunds be issued for tickets purchased, for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • Change of mind or personal circumstances
  • Illness or inability to attend
  • Travel delays, transportation issues, travel disruptions, or accommodation issues
  • Ineligibility for an award or category
  • Mistakes made during the booking process
  • Dissatisfaction with the Event or any aspect thereof
  • Failure to attend the Event

2.2 Tickets are sold as a firm commitment to attend the Event. This no-refunds policy is permitted under UK consumer protection law, as event tickets for a specific date are exempt from the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (which ordinarily provide a 14-day cooling-off period).

2.3 Exception (Cancellation / Significant Reschedule): In the rare instance that the Event is cancelled or significantly rescheduled by the organiser, we will follow statutory legal requirements regarding refunds or credit notes, as applicable (including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015). If the Event is postponed or rescheduled, tickets will remain valid for the new date unless we are required by law to offer a refund.

2.4 Nothing in this clause limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.

3. ESSENTIAL COMPANION TICKET POLICY (ACCESS CARD HOLDERS)

3.1 Eligibility

The UK Hair and Beauty Awards is committed to ensuring our events are accessible and inclusive. We offer one Essential Companion ticket to guests who require a personal assistant, carer, or companion to attend the Event. Essential Companions are entitled to either a complimentary Standard Ticket or a discounted Banquet Ticket, with the reduced fee covering catering costs.

3.2 Requirements

To qualify for an Essential Companion ticket, the guest must:

  • Hold a valid Access Card with the +1 symbol, issued by Nimbus Disability.
  • The Access Card must be current and not expired at the time of booking.

3.3 How to Request

  • Companion ticket requests MUST be made before or at the time of booking; refunds will not be issued for tickets already bought.
  • Any additional needs must be communicated to our events team at least 14 days prior to the Event.
  • Proof of the Access Card (+1 symbol) must be provided by uploading a clear photograph or scan during the booking process or via email.
  • Both the primary ticket holder and their companion must present the Access Card at the Event entrance for verification.

3.4 Terms

  • The Essential Companion ticket is non-transferable and must be used by the named companion.
  • The companion must attend with the primary ticket holder; the companion ticket cannot be used independently.
  • Companion tickets are subject to availability and Event capacity limits.
  • We reserve the right to verify Access Card validity at any time.

4. TICKET VALIDITY AND ENTRY

4.1 Tickets are valid only for the date, time, and venue specified on the ticket.

4.2 Admission to the Event is subject to presentation of a valid ticket (either printed or digital) and valid photographic identification.

4.3 Each ticket admits one person only unless otherwise stated (e.g., Essential Companion tickets).

4.4 Entry may be refused if the ticket holder cannot provide the required ticket and identification, is deemed to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or is behaving in a manner that may cause danger, disruption, or annoyance to others.

5. NON-TRANSFERABILITY AND RESALE PROHIBITION

5.1 Tickets are strictly non-transferable and may not be resold for profit or commercial gain.

5.2 Tickets may not be resold, offered for resale, or used for commercial purposes (including competitions, promotions, or giveaways) without our express written permission.

5.3 Any ticket found to be resold through unauthorised secondary platforms or secondary markets will be voided without a refund, and the holder may be refused entry.

6. EVENT CHANGES, POSTPONEMENT, AND CANCELLATION

6.1 While we strive to deliver the Event as advertised, we reserve the right to make changes to the lineup, celebrity hosts, performance schedule, Event programme, presenters, performers, or venue without notice.

6.2 Such changes do not constitute a "significant change" and do not entitle the ticket holder to a refund.

6.3 In the event of postponement or reschedulement, all tickets will remain valid for the new date. No refunds or compensation will be provided, except as required by law.

6.4 If the Event is cancelled entirely by The UK Hair and Beauty Awards and no rescheduled date is offered, ticket holders will receive a refund of the ticket face value only. No additional costs (travel, accommodation, etc.) will be reimbursed.

6.5 We are not liable for any losses or expenses incurred by ticket holders as a result of Event changes, postponement, or cancellation, except as required by law.

7. FORCE MAJEURE

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, war, terrorism, civil unrest, industrial disputes, fire, flood, pandemic, government restrictions, or failure of third-party suppliers. In such circumstances, no refunds or compensation will be provided beyond those stipulated in Section 6.3.

8. CODE OF CONDUCT

8.1 All ticket holders must conduct themselves in a respectful and appropriate manner at all times.

8.2 Prohibited behaviour includes but is not limited to: violence, harassment, discrimination, hate speech, theft, vandalism, disorderly conduct, or illegal activity.

8.3 We reserve the right to remove any individual from the Event without refund if they breach this code of conduct or present a risk to the safety, security, or enjoyment of other attendees.

9. PHOTOGRAPHY, FILMING, AND MEDIA RIGHTS

9.1 By attending the Event, you consent to being photographed, filmed, and recorded by The UK Hair and Beauty Awards, our partners, and accredited media.

9.2 You grant us the irrevocable, royalty-free right to use your image, likeness, and voice in promotional materials, social media, broadcasts (including our livestream), and any other media in perpetuity without compensation.

9.3 If you do not wish to be filmed or photographed, please contact our events team in advance so we can assist with alternative arrangements where possible.

10. LOST, STOLEN, OR DAMAGED TICKETS

10.1 We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged tickets.

10.2 Replacement tickets may be issued at our sole discretion upon verification of the original purchase. A replacement fee may apply.

11. AGE RESTRICTIONS

11.1 Attendees must be 18 years of age or older unless otherwise stated for specific ticket categories.

11.2 Valid photographic ID proving age must be presented upon entry.

12. PROHIBITED ITEMS

The following items are prohibited at the Event and may result in denial of entry or removal without refund:

  • Weapons of any kind
  • Illegal substances
  • Glass containers
  • Laser pointers
  • Professional recording equipment (without prior authorisation)
  • Any item deemed dangerous or disruptive by our security team

13. LIABILITY AND DISCLAIMER

13.1 Attendance at the Event is at the ticket holder's own risk.

13.2 To the fullest extent permitted by law, The UK Hair and Beauty Awards shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or expense suffered by ticket holders, including but not limited to: personal injury (except where caused by our negligence), theft, loss of property, or consequential losses.

13.3 Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

14. DATA PROTECTION

14.1 We collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).
